Apple Cinnamon Bread!!
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- one teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- half cup soft butter
- two eggs
- one half tsp vanilla extract
- one half cups all-purpose flour
- one 3/4 tsp baking powder
- half c milk
- one apple, peel and chop
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9″ x 5″ loaf pan with flour. Blend brown sugar & cinnamon in a bowl and set apart.
Beat the white sugar and butter together in a bowl with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Beat eggs, one at a time, until combined; Add vanilla extract.
In another bowl, mix the flour and baking powder together; Stir with butter mixture.
Blend the milk into the mixture until smooth. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Then add half of the apples and half of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture. Put the apple mixture in the mixture.
Pour the remaining mixture over the apple layer; Top with the remaining apples and add more brown sugar/cinnamon mixture. Put the apples in the mixture. Stir the brown sugar mixture into the apples using a finger or spoon.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean, thirty to forty minutes.
