Fried Potato With Onion
- one kg potatoes, cut into 4-5mm thick rounds, halved two hundred g
- two tablespoons vegetable oil, div divided
- To taste salt and pepper
Soak prepared potatoes in cold water for forty five minutes to remove starch.
Insert the crusty plate into the pan, then place the pan in the appliance. Select AIR FRY, set temperature to 170°C and time to thirty minutes. Press the START/STOP button to start and let preheat for three minutes.
Dried five hundred g of fries with a towel to very dry. Place them in a large salad bowl with half tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir to coat all the fries with the oil.
Once the unit is preheated, place the potatoes and onions on the crisper plate. After five minutes, remove the pan from the appliance and shake the fries or stir them with silicone tongs. Put the pan back in place to resume cooking.
After fifteen minutes, place the fries in another bowl and start again with the next batch of potatoes and onions from step three.
Once all the potatoes and onions have been air fried, place them in the same bowl and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Select AIR FRY, set the temperature to one hundred ninety °C and the time to thirty minutes. Press START/STOP to begin and let preheat for three minutes.
Once the appliance is preheated, place all the fries in the pan and resume cooking.
Remove the pan from the appliance after five minutes and shake the potatoes and onions.
When cooking is complete, add a little salt and pepper before serving immediately.
