Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs
ingredients:
- two cups (five hundred ml) BBQ sauce
- two tablespoons brown sugar
- three tablespoons minced garlic
- one tablespoon cayenne pepper (optional for a bit of seasoning)
- two kg (four lb) pork ribs
- salt to taste
directions:
Spray inside a six-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
Remove the inner skin (membrane) from the ribs and place the ribs in a slow cooker. Discard the skin.
Mixing BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, & cayenne pepper in bowl. Mix well to combine and cover completely with half of the sauce.
Seasoning with good amount of salt also pepper. Covering with lid also cooking on low setting for seven to nine h or high setting for three to five h . Stored rest sauce in refrigerator for later using.
When the ribs are cooked through and crumble, transfer them to an oven tray (or baking tray), lined with butter paper. (Lift carefully because the meat will be very soft and fall off the bone.)
Pour half of the juices from the slow cooker into the remaining sauce. Place the ribs with half of the sauce and grill (broil) in a preheated oven at four hundred °F (two hundred°C) for ten minutes or until they begin to brown and are cooked through on the edges.
Serving ribs with rest sauce.
